The "Hammermuehle" (hammer mill) is located in Donaustauf - surrounded by wood and meadows - about 12 km east of the old town of Regensburg / Bavaria, the district capital of Oberpfalz. The town was founded by the Romans as "Castra Regina", many famous buildings such as its cathedral (13th - 16th century) and the more than 800 year old scenic, stone bridge.
